Ancient Rome

Students will begin a new unit this week on Ancient Rome. Topics will range from geography, historical beginnings, politics, religion, leadership, military, technology, and philosophy. The students will be completing nightly homework (continue to look at your child's assignment notebook every night and weekend to ensure they are completing what is written down), in-class work, Socratic Seminars, and both group and individual projects. There will also be both quizzes and tests for this unit, so please continue to assist your student with preparing early for these assessments.
